introduction

the half-size pca-6134p is equipped with an 80386sx, 80486slc or 80486slc2 cpu and a 80387sx math coprocessor socket. also included on-board are one serial rs-232 port, one serial rs-rs-232/rs-422/rs-485 port, an enhanced bi-directional
parallel port, an ide hard disk drive interface (controls up to two hard disk drives), a floppy disk controller (supports two floppy disk drives) and a watchdog timer.

the watchdog timer ensures that the cpu will be reset if it stops due to a program or emi problem. this allows the pca-6134p to be used in standalone systems or unattended environments. the pca-6134p"s industrial-grade construction ensures reliable operation at temperatures up to 140°f (60°c).we designed the pca-6134p with sbc (single board computer) applications in mind. it features a single-voltage power supply (+5 v), built-in flash/rom disk (1.44 mb) and a connector for pc/104 expansion modules. the pca-6134p uses cmos technology for low power consumption and higher reliability. its two 72-pin simm dram sockets accept 1 mb, 4 mb or 16 mb simm modules for total memory capacity of 1 to 16 mb (supports only one 16 mb module).
